Anamorphic Content on the Trading Floor

On one of the most recognizable trading floors in the world, a client had seconds to capture the attention of everyone in the room and everyone watching on camera. Showy delivered anamorphic content for the floor’s overhead display cube, using forced perspective so imagery appears to break out of the screen and float in three dimensions above the crowd. Each sequence was built around the cube’s exact geometry and the viewing angles of traders and broadcast cameras below, so the illusion holds from the floor and on air. Playback was planned and tested to run without fail during live market moments, where there is no second take. The result turns a brief window on the floor into a moment people stop to watch, and remember.
